Every animal waiting deserves to be
found
We've built the compassionate infrastructure that connects shelters, rescues, fosters, transporters, and adopters so no animal goes unseen and no act of kindness gets lost.
"Named for one dog. Built for every animal still waiting."
Built on belief. Driven by purpose.
Compassion First
Every decision starts with the animal. We build for the rescuer who shows up at 11pm, the foster who drives three hours, and the adopter who just needs to find the right dog. If it doesn't serve them, we don't build it.
Community-Driven
Every feature starts with a real conversation with shelter staff, foster coordinators, and transporters in the field. They know what rescue needs. We build it.
Coordination Layers
Rescues aren't competing with each other — they're fighting the same clock. We build tools that move the entire chain, not just one link at a time.
Transparent and Secure
Clear pricing. Protected data. Unlimited animals. Trust is the foundation of every rescue relationship, and we take that seriously in our platform and in how we do business.
Every Second Matters
Every second in a shelter is critical. We build fast, reliable software because the intake clock never stops and the tools powering rescue shouldn't either.
Scalable and Sustainable
Built to grow with every rescue, every network, every region. LBC scales as the mission scales — no limits on animals, no ceiling on impact.
Meet the Team
We're rescuers, technologists, and dog lovers building the tools we wish existed.

Alexis Ruch
Founder & CEO
Fifteen years spent building partner and product marketing ecosystems across enterprise tech. But off the clock, her heart was somewhere else — volunteering, donating, and advocating for animals, until she finally adopted her own foster fail (rescues only, forever). Then everything changed. Lexie saw firsthand how fragmentation costs lives and how the right person and the right animal can miss each other simply because no one was coordinating. So she built LBC to fix it: for Lilly Bean, and for every animal still waiting to be found.
